Tranquil setting in the heart of the town"
Patti Smith fan - Scotland.
Just spent two nights at the B&B and visiting the Laugharne
weekend. Greeted with a cup of tea and a Welsh cake. Comfortable
room with excellent beds. Tea/coffee making facilities (including
fresh milk) & television. Peaceful setting away from he traffic/pubs-only
sound in the morning was a horse trotting down the road. Notwithstanding
this the B&B is less than 5 minutes walk into the town centre.
Good off street parking which saves the hassle of finding a space
in the narrow streets. Excellent breakfast and very hospitable friendly
owners. Would recommend highly.

"Friendly peaceful place"
Alviseven - Warwickshire lad.
We stayed in this lovely peaceful B&B and had a restful laid
back time. The warmth of our welcome was just the start of our enjoyable
holiday. We found plenty to do locally and the breakfasts were a
large tasty start to the day, the food is mostly locally sourced
and you will not find a more friendly or clean and cosy B&B,which
is easy to find, yet away from the traffic noise. A great escape,

"Exceptional Hospitality, ideal touring base for Carmarthen
and Pembroke"
Dylanthomasfan - Cardiff.
Our family recently spent a week at Bob and Lorraine's B&B,
it is an ideal place for kids, the Cors Playing field is at the
back of the Orchard Garden, it was like stepping back into the 1950's
in Laugharne, everyone was so friendly. It was so easy to get in
the car and take the kids to all the beaches and attractions. We
were given home made Welsh cakes when we arrived and during our
stay we enjoyed a variety of treats, especially the chocolate cake
and muffins baked by Angela. The Breakfasts were to die for! Our
kids can be faddy about food, but we were asked what they wanted
and it was on the table at breakfast time with no fuss. Nothing
was too much trouble for our hosts, we were like part of their extended
family! I am a big Dylan Thomas fan, there are lots of books available
and tapes including him reading his own work bliss! I was able to
read in peace whilst the kids watched the video downstairs. We particularly
liked the large private bathroom for the guests on the same floor
as the bedrooms, it was lovely and large and had a real bath as
well as a shower. Laugharne is enchanting, wonder views from the
paths, a lovely Norman castle, the Dylan Thomas Boathouse Museum
and great places to eat

Liked - The large attractive bathroom, just a couple of steps from
the bedroom and the off street parking.

the welcome we received from Lorraine and Bob was outstanding.
We needed a place to 'get away from it all' for a couple of days
and this was perfect. Breakfast outstanding, especially Lorraine's
Laverbread special. ....everything was outstanding will definitely
consider it again.

The breakfast was fantastic, we didn't need to eat again until
tea time. The warmth and friendliness we experienced was second
to none. It was my birthday and I got a cake. Certainly can't fault
it and would definitely recommend it to all my friends
